Barbara Stokes is the Chief Financial Officer at Green Structure Homes (GSH), a disaster relief construction company based in Huntsville, Alabama. GSH has been a government-approved contractor since 2003, and has helped thousands of families receive temporary housing in the aftermath of natural disasters, primarily in the Gulf Coast region. Barbara Stokes took over as CEO at GSH in 2008, after spending time in management at both Boeing and the Pisces corporation. She has experience in securing government contracts and looks forward to helping people through her position at GSH.


Under her guidance, GSH has created jobs in Huntsville and 7 other locations in the Southeastern United States. Her dedication to helping those in the community that are in need is evidenced by her volunteerism around Huntsville. Disaster relief is something that is near and dear to her heart, as she experienced as a child the effects that natural disasters can have on a community and on families. Her husband, Scott, serves as Chief Operating Officer at GSH and together they have three children, making them staples in the Huntsville, AL community.
