Iskandar Safa and his brother, Akram Safa founded the Privinvest.

Privinvest is well-known for building naval ships for NATO countries and commercial ships for the private sector. Iskandar is the CEO of the company. Iskandar would obtain a civil engineering degree from the American University of Beirut in 1978. Iskandar Safa would also earn an MBA from INSEAD, European Institute of Business Administration in 1982. Akram is a graduate of Ohio State University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Akram would make investments in a hotel in Europe. It would prove to be a good investment as Akram was able to make the hotel profitable.

Privinvest has more than 2,500 employees. Privinvest is one of the largest privately-owned shipbuilding companies. The company has facilities in Germany, the Middle East, and France. The shipbuilding entity was able to produce nearly 2000 ships. The company provided cutting-edge technology. Ships produced by the company are innovative.

The company keeps the planet’s sustainability in mind with the research and development finding a way to improve marine renewable energy.
